Responsibilities:
Performs game implementation tasks with an emphasis on 3D multimedia animation.
Integrates and enhances animations and illustrations to work with 3D models for gaming and lottery applications.
Designs 3D models as required.
Works in a software integrated development environment (IDE) to develop, modify, debug, review, test, and document multimedia scripts for a real-time gaming machine.
Decides which design approaches and parameters to use and then works with artists and software engineers to choreograph game play from original conceptual color comps.
Works with storyboards according to specific game definitions.
Applies project management skills to coordinate/communicate ideas and work with other departments to execute art direction as it applies to technical specifications.
Obtains product guidelines and constraints for software and multimedia design.
Remains current on multimedia techniques, trends, styles, etc.
Analyze, develop and recommend design approaches while working on critical engineering problems/projects.
Evaluates current and future field implementations and recommends design modifications or enhancements to eliminate software and multimedia design roadblocks and improve product performance.
Ensures product conforms to engineering design, regulatory, and customer performance expectations.
REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree, AA degree plus two years work experience, or four years work experience in Graphic Arts/Computer Science or related field is required.
Must have an emphasis on scripting, graphic design, art, animation, and 3D graphics.
Basic programming skills are preferred.
A minimum of two years experience working with Adobe Photoshop and one years experience with LightWave is required.
Experience with other multimedia design tools is preferred. Examples of previous work strongly preferred.
Gaming industry experience preferred.
Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain a gaming card.
