getting custom music onto the xb360

I've been trying to get the mp3s onto my xbox360 so i can play them while in game. Due to the fact most games come with pretty awful music.
If you using Nero Burning ROM:
1. the xbox only seems to recognize audio cds, so you'll have to either use a CDR or CDRW. I've been using CDRW so not to waste cds. It did not understand a CDR filled with MP3s or Windows Media files.
2. Before burning your complication onto CD, make sure the write method is set to Disc-at-once/96. I tired the other methods and the xbox seems to skip songs at random to rip to the HD. I kept the write speed down to 10x, for some reason 16x also produced the xbox to skip the occasional song.
3. Use quality brand CDRs & CDRWs. I noticed that the cheap memorex cdrs didn't read as good as the sony brand. Your mileage may vary.
