amazingly good sculpts. Ive got not idea what the purpose of those things coming out of his thighs are for though? I sure dont find them aesthetically pleasing. I love the way youve added all the little holes and stuff though. how was that done? masks?

ged- the holes were just sculpted in, and sometimes pinched to sharpen the edges

just a quick run down on the source of inspiration for the head designs, i sort of realised this after i finished the sculpts.

very nice sculpting and sense of form. my only complaint would be that he wouldnt be able to walk around or crouch comfortably (if at all). you should take freedom of movement into account for your next designs
Man the postman is awsome. The detail in there is amazing for only 1 million polys. Id love to see some vids of ur mudbox workflow. It has dominance war written all over it. You should have entered, or did you?
You're operating out of the belief that dentists don't like to pull teeth, whereas i think it's more likely that a dentist would be this guy's worst nightmare, rather than vice versa.
Nice stuff! I don't like the long teeth jutting out from where his jaw would be quite as much, though, mostly because it looks more like a bamboo-twig or haphazard pen to me.

Agreed with Quickel, the texture should more fit the mesh. I mean, the details that are on the model should be on the texture as well, so they make togheter a nice overall .

Quickel- yeah the shader needs some work, it's a really good colour base though, mix it with the other maps should look pretty decent with some nice shading and lighting.
Awesome work! I'd love to see the Postman with the normal thrown on. Inspirational stuff! I'd better start practicing sculpting or i'll miss this whole "next-gen" thing.

quick sculpt, around a few hours, I'm gonna do a more refined version..with the tendrils and all. zb3 and photoshop.
maybe create a crazy mouth opening with some big ass teeth?
take a look at the mouth of an elite from halo, maybe that gives you some inspiration.
