Yeah, that look SICK. Its going to be free or some such thing as well right? Free download for owners of EP1 or bundled with EP2? Thats what is truely amazing.
Rocket jumping, I missed you so much, I'm glad you're back never leave me again. I love the art style, it looks like its the same game play as TF but slightly improved. I really like the art style but I'm not sure if the world matches the players. I'll have to see it in action later, I can't wait!
That little rocket jumping syncronized bit was just too cool. Can't wait to check out pyro.
I also can't wait to try concussion grenade launching as a scout. Damn could I cap flags in TFC. I'd often launch right by 3 or 4 heavies, snatching flags left and right. Oh, funfunfunfun!!!
I hope it's as fun as the original quake TF. And if someone want's to start a polycount team for any leagues that might spring up, I'm in! One thing I'm worried over is that even with the original quake TF, most of us turned down the settings to the lowest level (even using the dropdown to turn off all the textures etc) so that we could have the game on it's highest speed. With this particular incarnation, if you can't sacrifice graphics for gameplay, there might be some problems.
I wonder if this will lure some of the big names back from counter-strike? Like Spice Girls (SG) and Earthquake (EQ)

Well, that's exactly what they did. They went from the original realistic approach to this, which suits the style of the game infinitely better - since it's so utterly rediculous.
It looked way better than I though it would in actual gameplay. The teaser looked extemely awesome but that was all scripted action, or perhaps even prerendered, but most of the awesome animation style remained here. Can't wait to play.
well I'm be playing this on a 128mb graphics card so I may have to crank the graphics right down just to avoid annoying "time outs" where on gets shot up the ass.

I didn't have a problem playing it on my 486 120 . TF is less of a twitch game anyway

The chaingun muzzle effect was imo too simplistic compared to characters and enviorments.
