I suppose you are using maya, just try invert the green channel for the mirroring side, I think it whould work.

My only crit is the blood on the metal. If its fresh then thats ok But if its old blood (which given the style of the model i suspect it is), then it would be much darker and coagulated.

Whats the scale of this in a real world? I'm guessing huge, since you have a tiny midget hand print of blood on there

this looks fantastic but you really need to crank up the spec values on the exposed flesh/blood

I agree with Ferg about the spec values. I've found with things like gore, the best way to make it look nice and juicey is to just take the areas that are exposed flesh and blood, turn the contrast up and brightness down, and then use a sharpen filter a couple times. The outcome should be a nice glossy gory look.


By the way, this thing looks awesome! I fricken love it!

one thing that might help though is to make the spec not AS purple as it is, the point of giving a bluish/purple spec is to kind of desaturate the spec of the skin so that it doesnt go orangy, and i think it's just going too far and making it a little too purple.

This is minor though, I think the thing looks crazy.
