The one thing that kind of struck me about your design is the way his head is nestled into the chest, nearly half of his head is shielded. Normally cool, but if he were to be functional in the game it'd be damn hard to make his head spring because you'd have to aim at his forehead to get a KO. Minor gripe, but maybe something to consider due to the source material.
Well, personally I think it makes sense for the robot to protect his one vulnerability. Make them batter through his chestplate to get to the prized chin.

Just for the sake of constructive criticism, something about the lower torso is bugging me. Maybe he needs more pronounced hips?
