Call of Duty 3

I know, I know, another WWI themed game. This is the only WW based franchise I'll ever play due to the fact thats its an insanely fun game to play (CoD2), so I'm pretty excited about the third one.

All I have to say is that if this is in-game, I can see myself getting motionsickness easily, which I never get. If what they've shown is NOT ingame, then thats pretty damn lame.

I saw the video I think you meant to link to.. it doesnt look in game to me at all. Activision were reprimanded for using pre rendered footage in their adverts in the uk.. since this is just an online teaser trailer its safe to assume they have done the same thing again.

Unfortunately my gut and eyes tell me that's it's pre-rendered. The camera movement alone gives it away. I really wish devs. would stop doing this shit.

Yah, same. If its in game, however, oh man. I still feel like it was pre-rendered to LOOK ingame... like lower quality than the ads for CoD2 were.

Wow... Do they really expect people to believe this crap? The graphics themselves dont look too far fetched, but all the camera movement junk definitely does. In fact, I wouldn't even want to play the game if the camera actually moved like that. I'd get motion sickness and vomit all over my keyboard.

I have this theory that the more realistic war games become the more they will start to affect players psychologically. This will eventually lead to a situtation where you won't actually want to kill people regardless of their allegiances because of the guilt that would result. What do you guys reckon? Am I smoking crack?

maybe theyve just pushed the envelope, taken it to the next level! In addition to the linear scripted events of the first games they've applied it to the player movement and shooting as well

It's defineatly pre rendered. Looks like ingame assets, though. The camera movement and shitty looking GUI stuff gives it away.

Move in! or Project Timeless, I don't remember which one, had a weapon feeling like this. The crosshairs didn't stay in the middle of the screen and moved instead towards the direction you moved your mouse to. Once you got used to it it was pretty cool
