What would be the average time for a piece of freelance modeling, game res, 2000-3000 triangles + diffuse/alpha + rig?

    The reality is that it depends on you as an artist. There really isn't one but it usually takes longer that in a studio setting since you tend to feel that you are on your own time and not really doing a job. Also it's going to depend on the style.

    8 hrs to 10 hrs modeling
    rigging 3hrs if it's a simple one
    unwraping 3hrs to 8hrs
    texture 20 to 24 hrs.
