Well apparently the original creator has made a higher resolution update of the game. same game, just nice and crisper. And no monkeying around with emulating or whatever.
I think there's also some talk of getting it on X-Box Live Arcade, which would be a great move--there are new generations of gamers that ought to exposed to classics like this.

awesome, out of this world and flashback are two of my favorite games, i'm gonna check this out.
this was the game that introduced me to cheatcodes...it was just tooo freaking tough for my ten-year old brain to handle.
