Looks nice, but like EQ said, the skin looks cartoony and inconsistent with the rest of the textures. Same with the hair, which looks like some sort of luminesent gummy candy.
With the deformation, I would recomend not allowing the bones to have that much influence on so may edgeloops. Study your own body, and see just how much flesh is actually affected with movenment.
excuse me - my question is little bit out of Your thread , but I see that You've got some experience with EXPORT into HL 2 , ... Do You know some link with a tutorial how to export a character model into HL 2 ?

and rmembering how it allways took liek hours to install the 5 gb the game is big i dont think its gonna happen anytime soon
