Any ideas on how the watercolor effect was done? Some things, like the water, may have been done in after effects, but the rocks, flower, and most everything else is all 3d with probably some really cool material on it. I'm thinking that it probably has some texture applied with 100% self illumination, and I was thinking that maybe there was some material that found the edges of the objects to get that watercolory feel to it. Any ideas?

I saved off some images from a thread a long time ago by these same artists. Basically the same thing as the wireframe shots at the end of the movie. Nice to see the finished product, thanks for the link.
