-classic RedArmy-ish outfit with a twist
-legs cut off during earlier combat, replaced by... something.
-supersmall fireweapon
-floating snowflakes around the figurine stand
-CRUSHED CGCHAT LOGO under left foot
On the technical side I want to see how handpainted texturing can mix with normalmapped/specmapped assets. Hence the hard surfaces will go on a 512 with normal, spec aso, and everything soft and matte (skin, fabric) will get classic texture maps. Also want to give her facial animation.
So cool dude! You must finish. I like the idea of the mas, but the pointy feet aren't doing it for me. I really would like to see another solution, but maybe you can see it to me when you model it. MAYBE!
The problem with the pointy feet is that she'd need at least three to keep her balance. Unless she had some sort of sophisticated whizz-bang internal rotoscoping balancing gizmo. In her pelvis.
Looking very cool. The mask on the second concept is perfect to make her totally deathly!
I´m with poop about the feet. Eveytime i look at the concept that part catches my eye. I think that it would look much more cool with another approach to that part.
The legs could work. I remember seeing a doco where this disabled sprinter had very similiar designed legs. The 'feet' didn't end at points but were very close to it.
i personally like the feet. they enhance the fact that this is a female, and it would take grace to beable to walk on them like a ballerina. they are really my favorite part of the concept, the ghost in the shell face seems a little generic at them moment, maybe try a less conventional style?
Hoosha, that is teh fr4gz! I dearly enjoy your intense creativity.
Love the teeth, certainly freakish. I just dislike the inconsistency the feet give to her overall aparral. It doesn't seem to fit, so I'd suggest somthing else in thier place. Aything else, for that matter. Not saying it's ugly at face value, just it's ugly on her. You can still accomplish a female look AND be origonal at the same time if you were to make that.. spider killer... more footlike. It's up to you how much more.
I really love the concept. The head is looking a bit masculine. Try softening the brow and making a rounder, more protruding forehead. Also the cheeks might need a bit of shaping, they seem to lack some volume under the eye. . . maybe.
It looks like a very realistic face right now, maybe add some more subtle cues that it's synthetic (like with the seams)? You might have a soft edge between the eyeball and eyelid, as if they're one surface instead of two.
Well Judging from the concept(which is fucking great!) I can see you're going for a more masculine female. Though I agree with Doc n' Daz, that it is a little too masculine.
Though I'm really digging the whole skin mask thing, it reminds me of the beginning of the movie A.I.
Looking really nice Pior. Hurry and finish. I know you and your girl are probably out in the streets of Holland tipping over cars and starting riots in the name of the French Revolution, but get back to work!!!
Yesh she's definately rough/masculine looking. And her not having eybrows, colored lips nor hair wont help! Agreed on the forehead being too strong tho, I will double check that.
As for the legs, despite its cool to have something really warish, I wanted to give her a paradoxal fragile look. I'm going for the ones on the pencil concept, not the blocky ones from the colord ones btw. But it can certainly be a total failure in the end! We'll see :O
Some progress on the inside face implant :
Time to start on the real fun stuff - proportions and COSTUME!
A crit actually, haha! Those bottom front teeth seem unfeasibly thin in cross section Pior. Looks like they'd break biting into anything remotely tough.
for the final pose will they accept animation or whatnot? if it has to be a still i think having the outer mask smashed halfway so that you see the skull thing underneath would be wicked, perhaps even in the standard thing.
Mishra: I believe they will indeed accept whatnot, but I'm guessing no on the animation.
Sweet work pior! I'm wondering how you'll handle the metal shaped gums in the final thing
Haha I'm late on the schedule. Should stop working on that head!
Agreed about the bottom teeth... but it's gonna be normalmapped, HOY! So that wont be noticeable
Mishra, I plan to have different renders for her, including one on which she holds her lumpy latexmask in her hand. Damaged face can becool too! I still have to check how the two layers are going to integrate on the lowpoly model.
great meshes pior, super flow man.. Is that silo you are using?
about the model i think, with the big lips/mouth and powerful jaw it looks kinda manly. But maybe thats in line with the concept.. Either way, great work!

The gums and teeth on the 'un-skinned' look fantastically creepy; wonderful!

cheers.
still a very strong piece. bravo!

I'd so like to be already on the texturing stage :O Tomorrow : Gums and teeth!
