When I use the Wacom I pull it from its position in the picture to right infront of me and use it that way. So no, I don't use the wacom on my left hand and the mouse on my right.
Barefoot at work, yes. Well, I wear socks and/or my slippers.
Thanks man, Battle Angel is my favourite.
No, not my own office. Here's the alternative view from my desk:
Now I've just moved into this room due to the ridiculous stint of 40+ degree weather (celcius) a week ago, so the obligatory toy collection is still sitting in the other room
I can't work efficiently without double monitors these days
I'd take a photo of mine but it's too scruffy right now. Maybe tomorrow once I organise some of this mess.
recently moved my workplace into that corner, that's why the walls are still white. well well, looking at it now it seems i need to cut down on mice a bit
I would much rather have one big ass monitor than two standard screens, and right now I'm saving my coins for a Dell 2405FPW, apparently the 30inch is nice and all but can't match the image quality/consitency of the 24inch.
And thomasp, you should put all those mice together in the microwave and make a supermouse!
I prefer seperate monitors to having an extra two inches on the top and side. I gain more space for the same ammount of money, and it's easier to use too. Honestly, if I just had a slightly bigger screen, none of my display configurations would change, things would just be a bit bigger. I'd rather have the space for IRC, Winamp, Reference pictures, Graph Editors and dopesheets, etc. on a second monitor-- can't work without it
If you really care about the image quality then i wouldn't get a Dell at all.
I use the 24" Widescreen Dell and an Apple 20" widescreen at work and the image consistency on the Dell is horrible.
It's sharp and great for modeling and surfing (and games), but if you're painting in PS or whatever then it's a nightmare. Can't tell what colors your image has because it looks completely different in the center of the screen from how it looks on the borders... change your viewing angle just a few degrees and everything looks completely different again.
I can stare into the Apple monitor from extreme angles and it's like looking at a wall, perfect solid image, and im not even an apple fan.
Awesome, cheers for the info. All I know is what I've read in reviews. I have been hesitant to buy one through the online store aswell in case I end up with dead pixels. OLED will save us...

AB - you use your right hand for your mouse, and your left for your wacom? What is this freakishness?

This is how I work, its great. I can keep the pen where I am working and use the mouse to do all that crappy menu navigating.
