Just got the call today.
I'm going to be working at HP doing support for Microsoft. Yes I'll basically be working for MS LOL.
I'd rather have the Bungie job, but like the old saying goes "A bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush"
In preperation for this I've borrowed money from the Father in-law and bought a motorcyle. I had to leave my old project bike in Indiana, and my van is gone, so a new/used bike is mine.
To those that know bikes it's a 1984 Honda V45 interceptor(700cc). It's gonna be a hoot!

Good to hear. Be careful on the bike, it's not the best vehicle to be driving in the winter months.

Getting an AGV jacket with full armor AGV jacket
Also getting a helmet of course, and still have my old Teknic gloves with Kevlar armor.
Next thing to do is fit the rocket launcher to take out crazy drivers that don't watch out for bikes

TS... hope you're getting the full armor pants as well. Friend of mine recently dropped his bike at speed, had on a brand new full-armor jacket and gloves he'd gotten that morning, but only jeans on. He was pissed that his brand new jacket and gloves were torn up. I had to knock some sense into him to be glad he only had bruises on his legs seeing as how FUBAR'd his upper gear was.

It's going to be awhile till I can afford the pants, I'm going to have to do some stuff to get the bike roadworthy first. One fork tube is higher up in the triple tree than the other and the bolts are frozen. Need to repair wiring, change oil, get a new chain, and tons of other little niggly things. Then I'll buy armored pants.
After all that is done come the fun of customising. Painting, welding, alternate bodywork, upgrading suspension and tons of more fun stuff
I'll post some before and after pics when I'm done.

Seattle doesn't recieve too many inches of rain a year. Like TS says it just drizzles...though it drizzels quiet often.

Seattle is my favorite city I've ever lived in. One day I hope to live there again.
