I think this game looks great, though. Eventhough the whole pirate/ninja-fad is becoming a bit tiresome, it looks like a fun arcadey game, so i'm sure i'll enjoy it.

Back on topic, it looks a badass sidescroller to me. But I love 2d side scrollers more than my own mother so I may be a little biased. I am gettin a little sick of the ninja-pirate thing just like everyone else, but I can't deny the fact that pirates and ninjas are the shit
Great art, great sense of humor, but ultimately a very boring game. Not fun at all IMO.

I thought the art for the game looked great. At that rez it reminds me of a poorly animated Metal Slug. I felt the gameplay was a bit weak, but then I didn't play it more than I few minutes. I'll see if I can play through the demo and then pass judgement.

Well sonic, it did offend someone, I've been showing it around and I'm not alone in this.
We have caricatured evil in Nazis, Ninjas, Chinese Ghosts, Pirates, Vikings, police, corporations, canadians, egyptians, even penguins and yes, tribal africans, black americans, gangsters and bad comedians. So what? Unless you have a propaganda campaign such as america saw in WW2 against the japanese, it's safe to say you're overreacting and pointlessly derailing a thread about a cool game. (I haven't played it, but that screenshot doesn't even look like they're being portrayed as evil.)
