Ok at first i didnt really like it much, thought the last one was better and they put all the crappy tracks on this one. And it kind of annoyed me that they both could have fit onto a single cd. But after listening to it like 5 or 6 times im REALLY liking it now, really odd how that works. Its like you dont fully understand or appreiciate it until you've heard it quite a few times. Or maybe its just that you're so used to hearing the old stuff by the time they release something new.... I dont know.

Mezmerize was released as a first part album with the second, Hypnotize, released 6 months later because they had so much material, and didn't want it released all at once.

Doesn't matter, as now I'll just buy both. :P

Today's music industry has brainwashed us into being completely obsessed with a hit song the moment it's released. And that excitement doesn't last very long, but they still make the profit. Sounds like games.

SOAD write great albums, and original songs. They grow on you, and last. Each one has been a soundtrack to a moment in my life since the release of the first. Toxicity was released on 9/11. And that album is the musical score of that time for me. And their live shows are awesome!!!

I had to listen to such a station at work today.... Ugh... Total wish I could yell this out.

Whats worse? Some hip-hop generic ass singing about a woman who is playing him or something played less than a hour from it's last play.

oXY: I can feel your pain, the months that I spent in the trash-collecting column I had to listen to some idiotic radio station all day because too many people think they will die when the music ever stops playing (my sister is one of them) and that fucking thing has to run all day 'round, playing the same old trash every hour, even the jokes of the moderators repeat each day.

just heard it... theres definitely some good stuff there, but its not really as good as mezmerize, a few songs seem like rehashes/fillers. my opinion: not as good as the other soad albums, maybe I'm just wrong and like arsh i need to listen to it like 10 more times... hehe

Rick, that's damn cool right there. I wish there were more options, but it surely matches groups pretty well. I just found 4-5 more bands that are similar to the ones I already love.

Some of these tracks are like snorting coke straight through your ears, its GREAT.
