to the BBC site showing the new design for Doctor Who's Cyberman. The Dalek was impressive, and it looks like this design has recieved the same level of care and attention.

daz - that looks more like the original-original cyberman, before it changed to the square-headed type

... but i dunno, it has the feel of a generic hobbyist character model about it. Especially those legs. Don't like the legs at all.

It must be difficult trying to stay true to such a distinctive original design - bring it up to date - and make it work in a post-trek/galactica TV land. I think they did a good job, and I hope they imbue them with plenty of menace. Could be a boyfriend for Metropolis's Robotrix??

He did look like Iron Man at first, then I noticed the classic boom-box handle and the roundy ear bits on the side of his head and it looks like cyberman, a really freakin cool version of cyberman, I love it!
