General Qualifications:
Expertise using 3ds max and Photoshop
4+ years experience working in the game industry
2+ years working on the PS2 or Xbox
At least 1 published console title
Familiarity with real-time modeling & texture issues (characters and environment)
Animator Qualifications:
Expertise using 3ds max & Character Studio (including rigging experience)
4+ years animating in game industry
At least 2 published titles as animator
Demo reel showcasing animation
3D/2D Artist Preferred Additional Experience:
Expertise creating and applying Textures
Experience creating Shadow Maps and Vertex Lighting
Expertise creating and applying Normal Map Textures
Expertise using ZBrush
Level Building experience
The ideal candidate would also have some of the following qualifications:
Experience creating concept art
Experience creating User Interfaces
Experience creating High Poly Pre-Rendered graphics
Level Design experience
Traditional art portfolio
Cross-platform development experience
Additional skills:
Excellent communication skills
A desire to make the best product
Willingness to put in extra effort, including longer hours as deadlines approach
Able to work on multiple tasks within a dynamic environment
While we are looking for artists with specific skill sets, we would like to see candidates with a breadth of experience in the other aspects of game art as well as possessing traditional drawing skills.
