I don't read as much as I used to but the last 2 books I've read have been by China Mieville ('Perdido Street Station' and 'The Scar') and Im busy on 'Iron Council', his latest novel.
I have really enjoyed the series of books as he's got quite an offbeat imagination. The world of New Crobuzon is kind of a genre defying place, so if you your current stash of literature is feeling stale, you'd probably enjoy his writing quite a bit.

Just read "A Colder War" (link to the novelette) by Charles Stross, it was really interesting, Cthulhu meets secret agents and political intrigue.
Currently reading A Short History of Nearly Everything
I need to finish Idoru, I had a few false starts on it in the past, I'm hoping it picks up.
I also need to tackle "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell" since I bought the hard cover a few months back, things pick up with this book too, I hope?
