Ahaha, that FPS camera is terribly silly. Looks cheesy enough to be worth a look when it eventually hits the cinemas here.

Pinky looks to be replcated fairly well, although he does seem to have wheels now.

still looks like 50 times better than the fanstastic four movie, .. the fps camera thing was completely fucking retarded, i feel this movie will suck, but i'll probably hold complete judgement untill i see it

The FPS part is actually kinda cool. Yes cheezy, but fun looking. The really lame crap I cant stand is the one liners, and cliche voice overs, and horrible acting and setup for the movie.

I'll admit that it's an interesting story hook that the people in the movie act like they're in a video game (they have 'handles', Rock sez 'game time'), but that's probably as far as that one goes.

I want to see an epilogue part at the end where The Rock is the lone survivor of the squad, and is trapped in an endless Deathmatch against continuously-spawning clones of himself... that'd be a good ending.

Oh, I think as long as you understand what your getting into with this movie, you'll be capable of enjoying it.
Complaining about this movie being cheesy is like complaining about A Toxic Avenger movie. Where do you get your expectations from? Enjoy it for what it is.

A stereotypical horror shoot-em-up movie with a paper thin plot based on a stere shoot-em-up game with a paper thin plot....sounds like they hit the nail on the head with this one.

My only complaint is the visuals dont look as cool as they could have. I'm not a big fan of these Stan Winston creatures they are showing. Maybe they'll look better in the movie.

What is amazing to me is that some people can poo-poo a movie like this, and then rave about drivel like Shoalin Soccer or Kung-Fu Hustle. Those kind of movies make me convulse & vomit up vital internal organs.

but anyway i just saw the trailer for "transporter 2" and i will say "Doom" looks to be about 400 times better than tran 2

Transporter rocks, no matter how crap it is. Jason Statham ftw... About dooom, I don't know how this fps view will be used. I guess we all will have to go to the theatre and check it.... Well atleast the marketing and trailer guys have done their job :P
