Yeah, heard of it a while ago. I find it a little amusing for a few reasons.
a) Why the hell are Alias only just providing us with real-time content creation?
b) NVIDIA provided this first.
c) Why did NVIDIA stop support?
It really gets to me more how XSI and Max have both had this for the past year or so. Just shocking how freaking far behind Maya developers are in R/T Content Creation Tools.
Though I do hope Ashli will mean ATi are finally ready to take OpenGL seriously. Though not entirely surprising given thier inability to actually provide a stable working protoype of R500 for Microsoft.
It's kinda like a "let's try some other options rather than gaming market.". Again I find this slightly amusing.
