I can't recommend that everyone buy this game but you should at least rent it to experience it's weirdness. It's a great mix of Cronenburg-esque weirdness with some nice absurd humor mixed in.

Best scene so far: Mask de Smith (Mexican wrestler character) stopping a bullet by head-butting it.

I'm only two or three hours into this, but I'm really enjoying it so far. It's defintely weird, and I love the graphics style; the gradient backdrop that's laid over the environment polys is really nice. Lots of good procedural fx, and everything seems very polished. The Killer7 all have great models and animations.

I don't think the gameplay is dull or "broken" by any means, but it does feel really old school. Kinda like old PC adventure games: it looks like you're in a 3D environment, but there's a set path you have to walk on. And like most of those old adventure games, I'm actually playing through it because the story is interesting, and I want to know what is going on.

You'll love it or you'll hate it, but you should at least try it out.

On my list of games to buy once I get a console, also in this country I can't pick up PC titles...
