notman, I got it from aintitcoolnews.com. Really doesn't help in your search for widescreen desktop images, though....unless you want Kong or a T-Rex for your desktop.

seeing as i'm playing a lot of bf2 now that i've got a copy, i dug up this image and cropped /shrunk it down to size (the original's about 1/3 bigger).. it's not dual-screen, but it conveys the message...

What's the point of having a nice wallpaper if you're just gonna cover it with icons!?

Same one as it's been for a while... I'm running dual monitors, but it's the same background (only with no icons) on the left monitor too.

hehehe it's just a workdesktop, these things come and go, lot's of files that will be delted anway, most of the time I´ve got my programs open anway so I rarely get to see it and if I REALLY want to see it I blend out all the icons
