Something about the back of the neck is bugging me too - not enough cranium?
Seems like a decent start though, keep picking at it ... try selecting all the body polys and running a negative-value Push modifier on them, see what happens...
Well, yes, that's obvious - however, even for a WIP, getting the masses and volume of the mesh to be consistent is more important than worrying about detail or mesh flow, I think...
