unreal championship 2 question

on the unreal championship 2 game on x-box, i am trying to figure out how to unlock Malcom. it says "win a match against human opponents in each game type" what exactly does that mean. I have beat everything and I still can not get him. I think I am missing something.

Get yourself a second controller and hook it up. It doesn't have to do anything; just let it sit there in the middle of the level doing nothing. Basically, you have to beat a "human" opponent on every single game type. That's it.
