so i was checking out graphic books a barnes and noble and i see a book titled "How to photoshop girls" so im thinking its a character book, but when i opened it i realized it was a book to well photoshop girls, for magazines, models etc.
i checked out a turorial inside and the CD included gave you a picture of a girl, she looked good but you could he she had the flaws everyone has, i flip the page and they show a picture of a nekkid barbie doll and that was the goal. the whole tut went through took out wrinkles, scars, gave her bigger breasts, shaved a few pounds off her hips and in the end the final result was way different, basiclly a barbie doll, like you see on fashion dolls.
i knew pictures on magazines were photoshopped but to this extreme i didnt think it would be

It's funny, she's such a small woman in person, seeing her without all the trappings. Not what I expected from the movies. Very friendly too.
That's one of the four theories of how the media affect people and apparently not accepted as the universal truth. Of course I believe that at least half of those theories are utter bullshit (circle of silence? Yeah, like people would shut up just because they know nothing about a subject).
