Got a project bike

Someone was going to send thier old motorcycle to the scrapyard, but said I could have it if I wanted it. Everything is locked up on it. Thge paint is crap and the seat needs replaced. It's a 1962 or later, honda dream. My kids and I love it. I'm going to be teaching them to ride when they get older so this would be a fun learner bike for them.
Here's what I want it to look like when I'm done restoring it. I have a lot of work to do, but that's the fun part

How did Mr Patrick put it?, "Say, that's a nice bike". Good luck. I've helped a few friends (and my dad when I was a kid) with similar projects. Looking forward to those photos..

looks to be a fun project! any plans for paint yet?

I'm thinking of reversing the paint scheme. Make the main color a pearl white with black pinstring. It would definitely make it stand out.
