Geeked out over the weekend and just started hacking away at my Maya install. It ended up at just a little over 88 MB, and all the commands are still there as fas as I can tell. Not bad for a package barely bigger than Photoshop! And...I'm such a nerd.

i use maya as little as possible cause it sucks up more memory than having xsi and PS:CS open at the same time.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking, removing all the development library headers would free up a lot of space. Then all the documentation and shader libaries.

I had a severely swollen maya once... doctor gave me a mel script for it. ha ha ha. ahem.
