Basically reports that there is a virus out there that will eat .mp3 and .com files. so first it deletes all your mp3's all good and evil ones, then wrecks your machine with removal of the .com files.

Thats some serious nasty shit. But I bet ya that company wrote that worm so they could just so happen provide anti-virus software to counter it...I smell conspircy.
I also buy CDs, and happen to have one MP3 for every song I have on CD. I also have the MP3s I bought from audiolunchbox.com and downloadpunk.com. Possession of MP3s doesn't necessarily mean you haven't bought anything legitimately.
