the title is pinguys. hes one of the concepts i have made.
lemme block out the idea for u.
this midget hes a pilot for a vehicle/bot that i have still
in the stage of design. which im going to do next. he is
below 300 tris. the idea of the project is like cute digital
actiontoy that battles with other races using 2legged
vehicles. i have a few other ideas for other races but aint
got so much time. so im just going to do this one first and
if times allows i will continue with the others. each step
by step then
however.

The fact that i initially get lots of HAHAs and LOLs from
people proves me that i kind of got what i wanted to have in
this. atleast if that is your real spontanious reaction and
it was for the most people that have seen and commented this
even in wip.
however what i forgot to mention is that i was thinkin about
making a sdk public for this if people are interested in
having a quick skinjob. let me know of it.

firestarter. not that i didnt notice that too. but as far as
geometry detail goes im tryin to keep it simple and as low
as possible. since the idea of it is not close up viewing.
the character is more a detail of the hole unit. so i think
makin the ears modeled wouldnt be so visible or not having
them modeled ...however.
design of the bot for the midget is done but instead of
modeling that now i decided to unwrapp a second char for no
reason. just felt like it.
the idea of this one is a bit colonial militia? or royal i
aint sure. something like that tho. initially he was more a
ball with legs but then added a bit more geometric detail
and shape. so hes a more massive and mighty one.
obiously im trying to mix elements/themes here.
Oh ya, I would add just mesh ear, Not to much, just a bit, that would realy add IMO.
The fat fuck one is ROFL, Its hard to see tho with the poo light, but it seem like it need some more loving with some of the verts... Dude, I soo totaly want to do one, like now RIGHT NOW..

How did you get the seams on you mesh to be so seamless?
Makkon i basicle just use a color along the seems.
best way to not have the seems.
so its just minor structure which doesnt affect the seam so much . visually.

thanks again for everyone giving all the good vibration to
this thread. the big fella is in progress.
i went back to modeling stage and optimize the model.
the concept is much sharper now and i like it way better.
just tweaking the texture to fit the new uvlayout now and
will proceed painting the stuff that i hadnt done or hadnt
begun.
