Allright guys, i'm here to ask a favour:
Could anyone who lives in the area of one of these listening parties please (pretty please with fucking cherries on top) pre-order "With Teeth" there? I really want that Promo vinyl, and there aren't any listening parties in Europe (let alone belgium)
I'll pay you for the album and the shipping, ofcourse.
Let me know if you're going to do it though, i don't want to have to pay for five albums, heh.
If anyone could do this for me, i'd be eternally gratefull.
Here's the info for listening parties:

edit: oh, and the poster, if you're early enough for it.
did i mention oral favours? no? oh.

Looking forward to seeing NIN in Birmingham
I don't like them that much.
Why is it that it's so easy to get tickets to extremely popular bands pop bands, but so hard to get tickets for a less popular group?
It also means i wont get to see the dresden dolls opening for them, and i'll probably miss out on alot of the cool bits of the show, and i'll be surrounded by utter idiots.
Meh.
Anyway, Downsizer: if you could do that, and you could get me that gift as well (just send a friend or two who don't care for NIN ), i'd be very, VERY gratefull.
You can watch the video for it in the news here:

I thought this style is perfect for new NIN. Its obviously better than anything on the Fragile, and while I like his darker stuff on broken or downward spiril a lot more I think as he gets older it would be strange to see him do the same hard angst filled music.
For some reason that makes people claim that you're "not a real nin fan", or that you cant possibly like the older work then, but i love all of the cds, and i still can't help but think that The Fragile is a masterpiece.
let's keep discussions about it down a bit, though. people can get pretty damned worked up about it.
And also: this song is not representative of the rest of the cd, its definately the most dancy one, and there are some harder songs on the cd ("you know what you are" comes to mind) as well.
I like the new single as well, btw. The two songs that were released on www.bandbuilder.com/nin are both really good (allthough you're much better off checking out that video on nin.com if you want to hear the single)
If anyone would be thinking about hunting down the leaked 30 sec samples of every song: don't, they're pretty horrible samples, because they'll only show you on small bit of a song, and you'll form opinions on it before you've heard the entire thing.
from what i've seen most hardcore nin fans felt the fragile was some of trent's best work, and i'd be one to agree. I've never listened to an album so much it got destroyed through wear and tear that i had to go buy a new one, like i did with the fragile. Im liking the new NIN single a lot along with the other track that got leaked on the net (the line begins to blur). I was kind of hoping for another double disc but i suppose if it doesnt' take 6 years for another album after with teeth i'll manage.
