Position Information:
Position: High Poly Character Modeler
Starts: Immediately
Duration: 3-4 Months or longer
Type: Off-site Contractor
Pay: To be negotiated

About This Position:
High Poly Character Modelers will be able to:
A) Add geometry and detail to game resolution models for use as source material for normal maps. Method can be by direct modeling or with additional software such as ZBrush.
B) Build the character models from scratch based upon designs provided.

Clearly list the software packages you are fluent in, the types of work you have done in the past, and any additional information that would outline your skills and talents. What is your experience as a freelance artist?

- Portfolio -
Include a link to your online portfolio. If you don’t have an online portfolio, please send compressed .jpg images. Important: If you do not have enough work on your website to meet the portfolio requirements below, then send us files in addition to the link to your site. Total attachments should not exceed 5 megs.
Your portfolio work should exemplify the following:
1) show control mesh and full resolution
2) strong understanding of anatomy
3) attention to detail
4) ability to match concept material (include concepts when possible)
5) show realistic sci-fi and fantasy work

- Earn Bonus Points! –
In addition to the above portfolio requirements, it will be helpful if you can:
1) show the ability to create a game resolution characters (3-10K)
2) demonstrate a strong understanding of proper model construction for deformation, vertex weighting, and bone placement.
