just been getting in to painter at last. i can more or less do the same stuff i can in pshop now,I use the smear tool for blending on low opacity and the detail airbrush for painting.
One or two things annoy me though
In pshop I have actions set up so i can mirror my head quickly when painting half a head.
i wish also in painter there was a 'view actual size' menu entry. I get sick of choosing the maginfier then choosing view 100 percent.
also using keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease brush size can be a bit of a pain, because the mouse pointer flickers.
wish also that the orientation menu had rotate 90 degress clockwise rather than typing in '90' everytime.
Can i perhaps record actions to do stuff like this?
i am using painter 7 BTW.
But yeah overall I am feeling a bit happier with painter now

I work at swordfish studios in birmingham these days and I do mainly heads.
I will try and post some painter stuff soon. The stuff I have currently done is mainly retouching stuff from pshop for practice.
