Modeled after Walter Bernhard from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. Even though he really isn't Dracula in the game... he's still one of the coolest looking bosses I've seen in the series.
922 tris w/o the blood puddles.

I saved polies by not doubling the cloak. But I still got that 2 color effect with a few shader settings. http://www.polycount.com/cottages/souldesigns/dracula_03.jpg
I wanted it to be completely black... but it's the best I can come up with w/o adding polies/textures.
mmmm, gorgeous. i really like the armor. i think on the hair tho, you need to work on using the low poly nature of it, by putting those darker grooves in it, it makes itlook lik his hair is yarn, as apposed to if you kept the highlights solid, it would look more like a volume of hairlike pieces. minor nitpick. Im digging the pattern on the side cape.
Looks like you will have the whole cast of Castlevania modeled soon. I bought that castlevania for ps2 and it was just devil may cry with a skin pack, what a let down. I bought it solely because it said from the creators of Symphony of the Night.
Looks pretty damn awesome except his face looks totally out of place to me. It may be the contrast between the dark colours of the armour and the pure whiteness of his face... or the anime facial features.
Wow, this is awesome. Love the skin tones - only doesn't look 'dracula' enough. I always picture old Drac as having blood running from the corner of his lip, dead eyes, and some blemishes on his cheekbones and underhis eyes. Also, for his hair, I'd say make it the same tone of red as his armor/cape - but thats just me.
These low poly and texture res models you have been doing lately, have been really great.
Though as someone else mentioned, the groin area has too much pure black.
Great stuff though
I could of sworn i replied to this, but i guess it didnt go throu.. one problem i am having with these new boards...
Anyways, i realy like this one the best out of hte others. The alpha on the hands look much better on him than they did on the lilth model. Also i think you could of saved a few polies on the knee bat pice, if oyu just took 4 tries and placed it that way, but the head piece is only notice-able from the side view as first i though you did do it with just 2 planes and a transparency. If any part on the texture needs more work i think it would be the hai, especialy the back. The cape is realy cool.
Next lowpoly model you do like this you mind making a little mini tut? Its hard for me to figure out how to do things with real low poly stuff like these (i just dont know how to start one and get the desired results with so few polies).
Looks great as per usual.
Only complaint is the hair, looks too blocky (I know its low poly but compared to the rest it's too chunky) and very plastic.
waaah! i think your trying to replace Bobo as my 'most inspirational polycounter'. loving your 'old school' style characters lately. takes lots of talent to make such high quality work with low requirments (and looks much better than a lot of the higher rez stuff being tossed about lately)

That is a pretty cool bat design on the armor. He seems to be missing some detail in the genital area...
I am REALLY gonna find something for you do to monday morning
;-p
btw I heard the toliets were kinda messy
The only thing I did last slow down I had, was Complain, Play flash game, and finish at 3.
It was great. Then I quit.
HAR HAR HAR.
