Its an RPG, and the minute my firend saw that he said "thats it, I hate it"
so, i think that sums it up for the RPG haters.
and its decidely kiddy, so dont expect to tear any realistic intestines out from the baddies' throats.
but damn, its fun as hell.
The screen folds and unfolds, you turn into a paper airplane to glide around, Fighting has a lot of timing, you can counter attacks with precise button presses. Its got a bouncy soundtrack that with enough of the proper medication will keep you going for hours.
Mario sounds like Mickey Mouse. check it out. its pretty funny how similar they are at points in this game.
I love the style of 3d sets with Flat 3d characters, its a nice colorful change of pace from the usual "striving for realism" titles i've been playing recently. Movement is always smooth, and i've caught myself laughing at how cheap some of the animation is, in a good way.
They play around a lot with the 2d Flat 3d thing, so as an alternative from the typical current titles, if you dig Mario(tm), and you can play kiddy games and not be bothered by it
, I suggest scoping this game.
