Hey friends, back to 3D after a long break, it's like in the Godfather movie, every time I try to leave they pull me back in, it's so much fun making creatures, I simply love bringing a little bit of my crazy mind to real life!

I'll use this to share some of the fun things I do in my free time or when I want to clear my mind, I think it will encourage me to be more consistent with it!

I'm going to share this little project I started last night!
I saw a picture of a Hulk on Pinterest and thought, I want to do something similar. I started sketching with ZBrush using a head base I have, and something was coming out, but it was still a bit strange because I wasn't very interested in the comic book look. I like something that mixes realism and stylization!
So I pulled some references. I thought about using that guy, Great Khalil or Andre the Giant, but I thought Nikolay Valuev was the best fit, and I started using him as a reference for the face for this project!
The intention was to just do the head, but I got carried away and also added some things to the body. I still don't know if I'll continue this project.
It's all kind of generic for now, but if I continue with it I'll give it a such dose of personality, but before that I'd have to throw everything into Blender to retopologize, since the head and body are still separate, which would be a bit of a chore to do all at once, but I think it would be smart to send a clone to Blender, and retopologize and sculpt at the same time, and when everything is ready send it to ZBrush to reproject the details, that way I wouldn't lose momentum if I stopped sculpting to retopologize,
    anyway, ramblings!

In my sketches, I'm trying to do some quick projects, but I like to see them through to the end. I hate not finishing my projects, so I like to do small things sometimes that don't require dozens of steps to complete. Sometimes I just want to make a pretty render with good lighting, experimenting. I like those things. Shrimp is something I really enjoy eating from time to time, and this time I thought, why not observe a shrimp and give it a nice sculpting, see what comes out, observe the parts that would simply end up in my stomach and I didn't even know what they looked like!
Anyway, they say they're the cockroaches of the sea, I believe they are, but they're delicious too LOL.

I don't think it would be a portfolio piece, but it's an interesting sketch.
