Hi everyone,
We are looking for a first-person weapon animator/rigger for our tactical FPS project, built in s&box / Source 2.
We will provide:
- weapon model
- already rigged first-person arms
- textures/materials (if requested)
- reference examples for weapon positioning and animation style (if requested)
The weapon itself still needs to be rigged for animation, then animated together with the provided arms rig as a first-person viewmodel.
Required animations per weapon:
- shoot
- equip
- unequip
- reload
- reload-empty
- inspect
- idle
- walk
- run
- ADS in / ADS out
We are aiming for clean, readable, functional FPS animations, not AAA cinematic polish.
Technical requirements:
- weapon + arms animated together on one consistent viewmodel skeleton
- clean weapon root/bone setup
- bones/helpers for magazine, bolt, trigger, safety, muzzle, shell eject
- hand IK/grip helpers for left and right hand
- all animations exported from the same skeleton, same bind pose, same scale/origin
- clean Blender/FBX delivery suitable for Source 2 / s&box import
- modular gloves/sleeves should keep working from the same provided arms rig
If interested, please send:
- FPS weapon animation examples or portfolio
- whether you can handle weapon rigging as well
- your workflow/software
- estimated turnaround per weapon
- your rate per weapon or per animation set
- Discord or preferred contact
Thanks!
