Senior Technical Artist/ Pipeline Engineer ( UE5+ 3D Math + Mocap) (PAID)

Full Court Tennis (FCT) is building a pro-level biomechanical analysis engine. We are seeking a high-level Technical Artist/Engineer to build the bridge between raw iOS skeletal data and high-fidelity MetaHuman avatars in Unreal Engine 5.

Budget : 50-100hr depending on experience

The Role:

This is not a generalist role. We need a specialist who understands the deep "why" of 3D motion. You will be responsible for creating a data-agnostic normalization engine that standardizes 45-degree oblique camera data into front-facing 3D pro-mechanics.

Core Responsibilities:

• Spatial Normalization: Develop a Python/C++ logic within UE5 to "zero out" 30–45° camera offsets using Inverse Rotation Matrices.

• Anatomical IK Rigging: Implement custom IK solvers in the Unreal Control Rig to ensure anatomical joint limits (e.g., preventing elbow hyperextension).

• Data Filtering: Apply signal processing/filtering (Kalman, Butterworth, or similar) to minimize landmark jitter from raw iOS Vision data.

• Dynamic Sockets: Build a manual input system for "Grip Rotation" (Eastern, Semi-Western, Western) that dynamically offsets the racket mesh.

• Retargeting: Build the "Anatomical Bridge" to retarget male pro-swing data onto female skeletons without losing biomechanical accuracy.

Required Skills:

• Mastery of 3D Mathematics: You must be fluent in Vectors, Matrices, and Quaternions.

• Unreal Engine 5 Expert: Deep experience with Control Rig, Python API, and Skeletal Mesh workflows.

• Problem Solver: Ability to achieve frame-perfect synchronization between 3D ball objects and racket strings at 60fps.

• QA Focused: You will work directly with our Lead Technical Rigger, who will audit your code for mathematical integrity and "skin-ready" quality.

The Setup:

• Location: Remote (Global). We have a strong interest in talent from Ukraine, Poland, and Brazil.

• Trial Period: We begin with a 3-week, performance-based "Technical Pilot" to validate the pipeline.

• Rate: Competitive based on experience.

How to Apply:

Please send your portfolio or GitHub. We are specifically looking for examples of Technical Art (Rigging, Math-based tools, or Mocap pipelines)—not just environmental art or 3D modeling.
