Trying to decide between these two, both?: (mocked this up)

With the idea of the "switch player type" gaming style that i am seeing lately.
 i thought it might be a neat idea to incorporate that into my entry.

Or i will mishmash these two together and create a "new" version of the two from a mixed multiveral reality in the Rick and Morty universe.

Thought it would be neat to try to get the kuato in there also & liked the mixed portal look when rick morty and evil morty where trapped in prime ricks cage match box.

Not sure yet about exact technique, leaning more towards low-spec, perhaps just hand painted.

Target engine: most likely marmoset atm or blender?

Saying it now i have an alternative if i need to change this up but i like the idea and got a style i want to try to make into the dystopian madmax setting.

Edit:
will be out 1 - 3 weeks from the (21)weeks cause catering to visitors and 1 week to concept and try to mock up some 3d from the concept so ooph, till then.

    Tldr; Post would've been a concept (front) letting it simmer, found time(no delay), really early(day start) to not fall behind, cooking a concept 1st.

    Well i can't go and break them though, got to be fair, i was just over excited to get this thing going and was like go big!  

    Also the 1st idea was thought of for the 1st theme, which was as open as possible and what i thought was the most approachable as possible but tightening it did help me generate a concept quicker than i thought.  (helps to have a lot of references and idea to pull from, from the chosen entry "story".) 

    Adding To thread and reason for picking this:
    Want to post what i got already but i got to let it cook and think it over, oh i found a time-frame that works which is to get up before everyone else and work on things then, so i am not backed up.  Just random fyi.

    A relief to see some entrants coming on in, this feel fun already for me, just cooking up ideas and i like going with already made "characters"' and just adding what we wanting and not having to worry bout these generators so much.

    For a style seen someone release their game and it has a neat vibe but i do not see the style of R&M being made in that style so that will have to be figured out i think i could try to merge them, its the outlining that maybe the problematic part of the final texturing idea I want to attempt.

    About concept: (been having a lot of fun conceptualizing lately)
    Keeping it somewhat simple as i can over do it with the details cause i want to add every little thing.
    Haven't watched the show in some time so reviewing it all again now while working on the concept and grabbing elements i want to add to the mixed guy and keeping the theme in mind, also am looking though some of the comix they released also, so will be adding some of that stuff in as well.  (added someone to the kuato that i think works amazing for the "appeal", and theme of the show and theme of the contest.)
    Really liking how it is turning out and hope others think its neat also. 

    Always wanted to do something with this show but never got around to it, even with all its controversies and people falling out of its story train (ha) cause of changes to the show and its developers.  
    Just saying this contest pushed me to get it out already and glad to be starting something around the show, even if ultra late, hoping the new seasons bring back the hype train to the show again. (i do not watch many shows at all.)

    edit:// okay fixed the "issues" and can write out the description.

    Watched all my "fav" or interesting parts of the show and comics and picked which elements i thought to include into the design that i felt would add some "flavor", to it all. 

    Redesigned the "Portal Gun", a little bit, it wasn't 100% afaik some angles had things in different places and it threw me off so i made my own.

    Thought it was so neat to have a Kuato be a Meeseeks, not just any meeseeks (Mr.Sick) the one who can not fulfill his goal, so he is really mean and if he does, he will just poof off Evil Morty Primus's stomach.  Eye patch is some sort of two way LCD screen, still smart and still use's the portal gun.

    Will be making the backside and things might change or be removed if they do not work out in the 3D version, this was so much fun for me hope it shows, enjoy.

    Edit#2 i am aware of the heights difference, it was deliberate. (the "chin", was me messing around and mixing head shapes, it will be "normal Morty head", on final)

    This is a 4.5 tall Morty version where he is NO LONGER stuck in loop of being "cloned/replaced" the original Morty is about "4.05 / 0.25" heads tall or so, rick is about 5.5 - Morty heads tall, i checked..

    probably this, made a whole thing was too much fun trying to figure it all out.
    Working with the story since "rick", dislikes pirates it was not deliberate it just happen and that was cool.  time to get to some 3d.

    Let me know if it is too busy, i tried to make it simpler, did use reference the kuato is still there.

    modeling wip 1 day, used blender to make the rough model sheet, wanted to make it.  Was going to be all blender but i got frustrated with it again lol.

    updated the concept, will get to everyone's updates when i can shared pc.

    .Oh, yea let's see i tried to use the mirror option and the welding option, wasn't playing nice with that super low geometry above, wanted to work on one side only to get the base in but it felt like a struggle to get what i thought was somewhat straight forward process into why isn't it mirroring, i have to also play with that "axis" gizmo and i do not really know how and am probably waayy to used to and like 3dsmax's u.i. if i am 100% honest about all the frustration. :) but i figured a little here a little there and I'll switch over, ... eventually.

    Since i bumped the thread wanted to add more progress over the "week/strong/end."


    Thinking bout this i figured it made some sense to add something to the scene and i always wanted to do this and optimistically with the hopefully simple end result this can work out well enough at the end.

    References for this are youtube mechanic videos i merged two builds into this one and or eventually will, i thought it looked fun but still have to figure it all out and make it work well and read well.

    Been fired up to start more on Evil Morty, but wanted to get this "difficult" "pedestal" type vehicle out of the way as much as i can.

    the channels i watch haven't updated the main source i used to create this design [Grind Hard Plumbing co, trike build] so i had to reference a lot of stuff and try to figure out how these modkits on vehicles are made so keep that in mind, idk if i will make it 100% accurate or anything like that.

    Any who, i refined all the bits more so they make functional sense for the most part.  Still have to add some minor things & perhaps get a handle on the engine and some of the "wiring" for the engine/exhaust.
     i realized this like yesterday i think an entrant named there piece bull, totally not on purpose, i thought south a bull came to mind and the episode i linked is in a sandy area.   Have fun, hope ya like and C&C about this is cool with me and i totally didn't mean to step on naming toes, if toes where stepped on.

    @kanga :( *sigh*as much as i would love to seem as if i did do this all in blender it wasn't. :( had to default to my main if i want to get this done on time and lately haven't had much time to touch these.   so it was kind of a good call, bout 1 hour or so since the launch of this challenge. :(

    @sketchem thanks , yeah when i 1st heard the original i was like i got to find the best one and this surely is it, orchestral is an inspiring touch to this.
    i try to be big into the 'music' scene and hear the best stuff, though it seems to take a large amount of time to find all of the "hits", and the ones that speak to you.  I heard about a shazam application but i do not use any of those neat little apps.  (i am missing out on some stuff i am almost certain of it, its dampening to think about.)

    However i do appreciate any responses, thanks, ladies and gents.

    the last episode of sesaon 8 Episode 3 had these little guys and i liked them so much i want to add them somewhere to the project.  all today real quick.

    playing with shaders for about a week... at least it felt like it... trying to get a LOOK i would try to achieve.

    looks a lot better on my end will upload images since i had a very hard time getting this rotational for sure... you do not want to know how long... idk why this is the situation but it was.
    its why i made this little guy in the first place to get a quick "turn around", that ended up not being so quick.
    Tried to copy the show and add a little spice.

    Very slow updates but i am trying to chug along.  This is zbrush, and i didnt look anything up to make it happen i did a lot of trial and error.
