Hello! I have been taking gigs from game and animation start-ups. Some senior claimed that either personal project or gigs can lead me into getting hired. My total payment last month equals to part-time job monthly payment in Spain.
I want to up my game to get more gigs and eventually have a full-time job in a game company. How do I achieve that? I'm pretty sure most of you take gigs before advancing to full-time employment.
Here's my portfolio:

Thank you so much in advance. I appreciate your time.

Pretend you're an art director at the company you want to join, looking for new talent. Your lead developer has given you a task to overhaul several hundred old assets and create new ones for an upcoming expansion pack. They have also given you a budget, and several deadlines for various stages of the project. You've already allocated 75% of your budget, as there are hundreds of applicants to artist positions, and it's a buyer's market, so it's quite easy to fill these positions quickly with quality employees.

Does JeRayhatt's art compare or exceed that of the other applicants? Does he have something unique to contribute? Is his asking salary within your budget, will he work well with the others, communicate frequently and effectively, and does his prior experience demonstrate this?

If the answer is no to any of these questions, JeRayhatt will have to work harder to improve and try again.

Keep improving, keep applying. Post your work on social media. Good luck!
