Hello, this is my first post here. I've been doing 3D Art for the past few years but I still have some doubts about some stuff sometimes so I decided to register here to step up my modeling game
I had a question about topology for game ready / real time assets. I am currently modeling a knife but I encountered a retopology dilemma...
Could anyone tell me from these two images which would be a better topology for the low ? Also, if anyone has another solution I'd be happy to hear about it !
Thing is i need some points at the top and the bottom to support the curve, but I do not need the points in between, so how could i optimize it better ?

Thanks for the answer! Yes I was just trying out some topologies, and will definitely do the bottom lines too if I should go with option 2
