Looking for a mentor to learn 3D modeling

Hello everyone,

I’m really eager to dive into 3D modeling, but due to my health condition, it’s difficult for me to learn on my own or just through online videos. That’s why I’m looking for someone who has the time and patience to teach me the basics and help me grow my potential in this field.

I’d like to mention that I’m French, currently living in Canada, and I still have a lot to learn in English, so some patience with language would be appreciated. If anyone is available and willing to guide me on this journey, I would be really grateful.

These days, fundamental principles and concepts relevant too polygonal 3D modeling are fairly universal across the board, whether proprietary or an open source solution so my recommendation if you're just starting out is to give Blender a try - 100% free, huge community resource base irrespective of language or desired discipline of interest and from experience there will always be a helping hand to smooth whatever bump happens to be in the way.

I agree with you on the usual methods of learning and ways of getting help. Unfortunately, due to my health, I can't follow those methods. I've tried for several months, but my health has worsened even more. That's why I believe a teacher would be able to help me with all this. It would impact me less, and my way of progressing would be much easier!

To be honest I'd prioritize your immediate well being above all else, no positive use beginning an activity that may further cause ill health so put yourself first.
