Car modeling - Congestion of edges - How to solve ?

Hello everyone, here is my attempt at modeling a mini cooper guide mesh that will later be used to shrinkwrap panels onto.

So far I managed to do everything looking nice and evenly spaced with good edge flow except for the "arch" area, where LOTS of edge loops just smash into.

I tried to improve the situation by turning two arch edges into an ngon but this results in a wobble in that area when shaded.
How could I space those edges evenly without breaking the edge flow ?
Do note that since this is a guide mesh everything need to be one block for surface continuity's sake. So splitting the arch in its own part is a no-no.

Thanks in advance for any help !

I'd re-route geometry, either welding vertices or deleting edges in order to preserve your existing topology by utilizing the wheel arch control loop due to the intersecting curved surfaces and high subd level guide mesh.
