I made this turret from concept art I found on Artstation. I was wondering if there was any feedback or suggestions that could be helpful as I'm adding this to my Portfolio and want to find a job when I graduate in May.
Did you bevel all the edges? doesn't look like it, I'd give this another go with a new normal map with beveled nearly everything (you have to decide what needs it or what baking solutions can help with this.) handles,wiring,nozzle,legs, look okay, are you rendering in a game engine? or blender, i'd also look into presentation of your work and finding good solution. Like a simple ground plane or concrete slab something under this and an all "dark or sky bg might help push the feeling of its placement in its world better.
I didn't bevel all the edges I will go back and make adjustments. I rendered everything in Blender. I can make the enviornment more fitting for this prop and improve the lighting. Thank you for the suggestions!
