Here is a progress update so far on my UE5 environment piece. As I mentioned in the last post, I've decided to focus on the interior rather then including a fleshed out exterior environment for this project. If anything is seen outside of the temple, it will be minimal and maybe one shot, such as the mountain side view shot.

Started to block out the lighting a bit more to lean more towards the vibe of the concept.

I've also created a new material in Designer for the floor surrounding the pond. Here's a link to some renders for the new material on my Artstation.

One of the biggest things I need to start tackling is the center piece. I've decided to stick to a statue for the main center piece, and use Speedtree to create some vines coming out of the pond and wrapping around the statue.
I'll also include some "offerings" props to sit at the foot of the statue in front of it. Something to make this environment feel old, but still visited regularly.

I'll be creating some burning coal with smoke for the firepit pedestals. I want to go with this rather then a burning fire effect, to give some story to the environment, as if the temple is closed for the day and the fires have been put out recently.

Any feedback so far would be greatly appreciated!  =)
