Should I start sculpting the details now at this stage? Or should I hold off on that and work a little more on the current sculpt? The screenshot is in 35mm focal view in Zbrush and with dynamic perspective on
the likeliness is spot-on. I think the outer portion of his brow could be slightly less pronounced though. The lighting in some of the references might be fooling you.
I would refine the ears some more as it is looking a little mushy, especially the lobe where it attaches to the head. I think you've missed some of the inner volumes too. Take a look at the front references to see what I mean. The angle looks a little off too (side view). Also looks like the tip of his nose is a bit squashed in the 3/4 view, but it's a little hard to tell.
The final product that I got from Maya, would like to spend a little more time on this though. I don't know, but the final product seems 'off,' I don't know if it's the textures or the sculpt itself, but it looks 90% like Vincent Kompany and I need to know where the other 10% went.
