Setting up these relatively low poly assets, roughly 500 tris each. I'm okay with the meshes but the textures just aren't convincing me. Textures have always been a bit frustrating to me so I'd like to hear any kind of feedback or if I'm missing something painfully obvious direct me to a Textures 101 tutorial if it's that bad. I'm working in Substance Painter and below is a an example of the references I have. I'll keep working on this after I look up some texture tutorials to try and figure out what I'm not getting. Also I've noticed the odd lighting at the head of the spoon, will fix at the next render.
