Animated short looking for artists to develop art style
Calling all artists! We are a group of independent filmmakers working on a short animated film project set in an underwater world. We are currently developing the art style and seeking talented people to collaborate with us to help bring our vision to life. We are still in the early stage of defining the style of the project and you could be part of it. These are the roles we are looking for:
- concept artists
- storyboarder
- environment artists
- character designer
- unreal cinematic developer
This is initially an unpaid collaboration, but it is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working on a film project and to add to your portfolio. This is in pre-production and the plan is to apply for funding. So, if we get the funding, all your hard work will be paid. About the project:
In an underwater dystopian world, a laundry worker daydreams about life above water.
Above water, they are all magician is an animated sci-fi adventure short film.
Set in the Mediterranean, in 2100, and inspired by the advancement of technology as well as the effects of global warming, we explore the reality of a futuristic adapted society that is not so different from the present.
Imaginative, cinematic, and rooted in character, Above water they are all magicians, is the culmination of how contemplation is the escapism from our reality.
