[SOLVED] Problem: 3ds Max, IK parameters rollout greyed out

Hello,
When I set up an IK chain for a bone hierarchy, the IK chain is created and functions as expected... except that the parameters rollout in the motion panel is greyed out, so I can't change any of the settings. I've included a screenshot to illustrate the problem. This happens with any of the IK solvers (HI, HD, Limb and Spline).
All the videos on IK in Max indicate that I'm looking in the right place, as does the 3ds Max online reference... but in my case the rollout is blank.
Any help would be super amazing!

Okay it turns out it was a bug in 3ds Max. I restarted the program and now it works fine.
