Is there a difference between OBJ and FBX performance in Marmoset? I'm test with 2 meshes exported from zbrush, one is an FBX and the other an OBJ, and the OBJ is significantly slower. These are high poly meshes, so they're both pretty heavy on Marmoset, but the OBJ slows it down to around 10 FPS whereas the FBX is still above 30, which is pretty significant when you're trying to work.
Is this a known issue or do I just have something weird going on with my .OBJ?

I found this to be true as well, fbx for the win.
FBX max out at certain Polygon limit vs obj! also obj handles better overall for hp stuff.
Okay i'll bite on this discussion, is there a site to shows the benefits of each? i find it seems we have to use both, on one hand i've run into issues with exporting and normals (hard) & VP(vertex paint) and found i had to export in .fbx so i just stopped importing .obj, also no animation support afaik. But i am willing to be corrected & convinced to return to my learned ways of the .obj's
